Join us at Writers House on Thursday, March 14, at 6:00 PM for this year’s Hartman Screenwriting Symposium, a conversation with screenwriter and film director Tamara Jenkins. Philadelphia-born Jenkins is the winner of a Guggenheim fellowship and was nominated for multiple Academy Awards, including Best Original Screenplay, for her 2007 feature length film The Savages. She is also the writer/director of The Slums of Beverly Hills (1998), featuring Natasha Lyonne, Marisa Tomei, and Alan Arkin, and last year’s Netflix film Private Life (2018), starring Paul Giamatti and Kathryn Hahn.
