Asian Americans in Television, A Panel Discussion

Introducing: Peter Shinkoda, Dr. Peter X. Feng, Kar Yin Tham and Dr. Jacqui Sadashige

The panel will discuss the recent triumphs of the Asian American and Pacific Islander American community with regards to onscreen representation on major network television shows (Fresh off the Boat, Selfie, Community, Mindy Kaling Show, The Walking Dead) including more recent problematic representations. Panelists come from a variety of backgrounds including onscreen talent, public television programming and academia.
