Talent Manager and Emmy Award-winning Producer (“Bessie” starring Queen Latifah for HBO), Randi Michel’s next film projects are- producing with Queen Latifah and her Flavor Unit Entertainment the animated film “The 13 1/2 Lives of Captain Bluebear”, based on the fantasy novel of the same name by popular German author and illustrator Walter Moers for Netflix with partner The Henson Company. She is also producing with Travis Scott the Sony Pictures feature "All Screwed Up" for his Cactus Jack label based on the life of DJ Screw, the legendary Houston D.J. Randi also put together a comedy series that will star Smartless co-host Sean Hayes and to be directed and produced by Ben Stiller, along with the “Bad Sisters” writer-producers Brett Baer and Dave Finkel. Some of Randi’s other notable clients are: global movie star John Travolta, star of Grease, Saturday Night Fever and Pulp Fiction. Randi also represents his daughter Ella Travolta's newly breaking career. Ella is an actress, singer-songwriter and fashion brand ambassador. Series stars Jenna Elfman and Devon Sawa are also clients as well as film icon Gina Gershon, Bachelor star Colton Underwood and Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York. When client and Legendary Astronaut Buzz Aldrin celebrated 50+ years of walking on the moon- Randi closed lucrative endorsement campaigns for him with Omega watches, IBM, and YouTube.
Randi has also started a non-profit with her son bridging theater and performance to public schools in the NYC area: The SAID Project (http://thesaidproject.com/). She is also involved in the film communities of Saudi Arabia and Southeast Asia.
Randi heads up the New York office of management-production company Artists First. Randi has been featured on both The Hollywood Reporter and Variety Industry Power Lists. She started in
the industry in the William Morris Agency mailroom. She was the youngest Agent Trainee to be promoted to agent, and the youngest to be given an agency contract. She went on to be a Partner at WME and after 22 years at the agency became a manager/producer for her clients. Randi is a graduate of Beverly Hills High School and University of Pennsylvania.
