The Department of Cinema & Media Studies is thrilled to announce the appointment of Professor Karen Redrobe as our new Undergraduate Chair, starting fall 2024
Professor Redrobe's scholarship is rooted in film and media theory and addresses a range of subjects including war and the academy, violence and media, community media, animation, experimental and early cinema, feminism, and moving images in contemporary art.
Our undergraduates, and our department on the whole, are sure to benefit from Professor Redrobe's energy, experience, and enthusiasm, as well as her wisdom and guidance. Current and prospective majors and minors are encouraged to reach out to her by email or to schedule an appointment.
