A free admission film festival made possible thanks to the support of

Penn Cinema & Media Studies, in collaboration with N.I.C.E. - New Italian Cinema Events and the Consulate General of Italy in Philadelphia, presents the 2019 edition of NEW ITALIAN CINEMA. The festival has been curated by Nicola M. Gentili and aims at showing new and original Italian feature films in Philadelphia.

All movies in Italian with English subtitles.

A bitter-sweet late coming of age about the problems of modern-day love.

Igor Tuveri (as Igort) | 1st Feature, 2019, 100 min
Based on the namesake book, the movie follows Peppino, an old hit man in a '70 Naples, forced to come back in action by the murder of his son.
