Director John Huston biopic casts Montgomery Clift as the famous Viennese psychoanalyst and follows him from 1885-90 as he formulates his theories of the Oedipus complex. Based on ascreenplay by Jean-Paul Sartre. Photographed by Douglas Slocombe.
