Penn students meet and greet Doug Belgrad, President of Production, Columbia Pictures

Doug Belgrad was named president of Columbia Pictures in January 2008 and has supervised film production since 2003, along with Matt Tolmach. In recent years, Belgrad has supervised films such as Casino Royale, Hitch, 50 First Dates, Hancock, Mall Cop and Julie & Julia, with upcoming projects including Adam Sandler's Grown Ups, The Social Network, directed by David Fincher, Men in Black 3 and Ghostbusters 3. Doug graduated Penn with a B.A. in history in 1987, began his career at Kidder, Peabody as a media analyst and joined Sony Pictures in 1989 as a management associate, working in strategic planning and business development.
