Nancy Novack (Penn Fine Arts and Cinema Studies) among the Peabody Award Winners

The African Americans: Many Rivers To Cross won the prestigious Peabody award today. Nancy Novack had the great honor of being the Supervising Editor of the series, in addition to being the individual editor of Episodes 1 and 2. Also - the city of Philadelphia played a major role in the early history of free blacks in America, and is featured prominently in Episode 2.
