In Houston, We Have a Problem!, filmmakers Žiga Virc and Bostjan Virc add new material to the discussion on both fronts. A intriguing docu-fiction that explores the myth of the secret multi-billion-dollar deal behind America’s purchase of Yugoslavia’s clandestine space program in the early 1960s.

Meta Mazaj (Penn Cinema and Media Studies) was a member of the jury at the 19th Festival of Slovenian Cinema in Portorož, which took place on Sept 13-19. In the clip below from the final Awards Ceremony, she’s presenting the Vesna Award for Best Montage to Žiga Virc, the director of Houston, We Have a Problem!, a film which also won the award for Best Film and became the official Slovenian nomination for this year's Oscars.
