Come join us as we explore the topic of African Women challenging cultural expectation of themselves through the Mother of George, which tells the story of a West African woman living in Brooklyn, New York, who defies cultural expectations after her mother in-law confronts her with an ultimatum: conceive or give her husband permission to take another woman.

Ethiopian food and drinks will be provided.
