"The Last Survivor" Screening

Featuring the Penn Alumni Co-Directors Michael Pertnoy & Michael Kleiman

Interested in social justice or filmmaking? Join Moral Voices for a special presentation of the award-winning new documentary "The Last Survivor" with the Penn alumni co-directors. "The Last Survivor" (www.thelastsurvivor.com) is a powerful documentary on the lives of four survivors of different genocides and ethnic conflicts--Rwanda, Darfur, the Congo, and the Holocaust. The film aims to "inspire tolerance and spark a civic response to mass atrocity crimes." Produced and directed by Penn graduates Michael Pertnoy and Michael Kleiman, the film presents an intimate look into their experiences, thoughts, and triumphs. The co-directors will give a brief talk following the film and will be open to questions about filmmaking as well as about crimes against humanity.
