Experts from Penn and the Philadelphia region discuss the importance of the arts in city building, enhancing the quality of life of urban dwellers, and promoting the economic vitality of the city and region.

Moderator and Panelists include: David Brownlee, Frances Shapiro-Weitzenhoffer Professor, Department of the History of Art, School of Arts and Sciences, University of Pennsylvania; Peggy Amsterdam, President, Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance; Claudia Gould, The Daniel W. Dietrich, II Director, ICA; Karen Beckman, Elliot and Roslyn Jaffe Associate Professor of Film Studies, Department of the History of Art, Director of the Cinema Studies Program, University of Pennsylvania; and Jeremy Nowak, Founder and President of The Reinvestment Fund.
